Welcome to the WWE2K Network[]
The WWE2K Network is an alternative view / history of the WWE proper as simulated through the WWE 2K games franchise on PS4. This began with WWE 2K15 several years ago and continues with each new entry in the series. Default Champions were determined by who was Champion following the real-life Wrestlemania XXIX event. Since the games operate with the arenas from a year prior, the decision was made to start the Universe in 2013 the day after Wrestlemania and continue as if it were an alternate re-telling of history. WWE 2K15 culminated with Wrestlemania XXX, 2K16 with Wrestlemania 31 and so on.
Important Information[]
For WWE 2K18, the calendar will begin the day after Wrestlemania 32. The brand split will begin that night and use the original drafted rosters from Raw and Smackdown Live. The Cruiserweight Championship will be defended exclusively on 205 Live and NXT. Takeover events will now see Superstars from both NXT and 205 Live.
